Privacy Policy
Pawdigree is built by Brooke Builds Stuff LLC (the company) to identify your pet's breed from a photo. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to get rid of it.
What we collect
- The photos of pets you scan.Sent to our server (a Supabase Edge Function) and then to Anthropic's Claude API, which identifies the breed and returns the result. We don't keep the photo after that round-trip.
- Your pet profiles. The name, species, age, photo, and breed results you save are stored locally on your device.
- In-app purchase records. When you unlock a profile, Apple and our payments provider (RevenueCat) confirm the purchase so your unlock keeps working and can be restored. We never see your payment card details.
What we don't collect
- No account, login, or email is required to use Pawdigree.
- No third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
- No advertising identifiers (IDFA).
- No location data.
- No contacts. No payment card data — Apple handles all purchases.
Who we share it with
- Anthropic — briefly receives your pet photo to identify the breed. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
- Supabase — hosts the edge function that relays the photo for analysis. See Supabase's privacy policy.
- Apple & RevenueCat — for In-App Purchase and restoring your unlock. See Apple's privacy policy and RevenueCat's privacy policy.
We don't sell your data, and we don't share it for advertising.
How to delete your data
Your pet profiles live on your device — delete a profile in the app, or delete the app, and they're gone. Pet photos aren't retained on our server beyond the moment of analysis. If you have any question about your data, email hi@pawdigree.app.
Children
Pawdigree is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For material changes, we'll surface a notice in the app.
